So why not splurge and prepare a deliciously sweet and nutrient-filled beverage to help get you through the last few weeks of bleak? This berry concoction is loaded with nutrients and antioxidants. As an added benefit to your health, we’ve included cucumber in the recipe. Berries are a terrific and concentrated source of vitamins, but cucumbers are formidable in their own right.

For starters, cucumbers are incredibly hydrating – they’re 95 percent water! Anyone who has ever applied cucumber to a sunburn is aware of its anti-inflammatory and soothing properties, but did you know that when eaten it can actually aid hair growth and skin health? It’s true. Cucumber is also touted as a hangover remedy and has been shown to reduce cholesterol, regulate blood pressure and lower diabetes risk. Cucumbers are also a rich source of silica, which is instrumental to joint health. And you thought that berries were the only star act in this juice. But enough – stop reading and get juicing!


  • 1 Cup of Strawberries
  • 1 Cup of Raspberries
  • ½ Cup of Blueberries
  • 1 Whole Cucumber


  • Rinse all ingredients and juice them up.
  • Pour over ice. For a low glycemic index flourish that’ll make this juice’s portents of spring taste even sweeter, add a touch of agave syrup.
