Fruity Fennel Juice

SummaryFruity Fennel Juice

One of the great things about juicing is that as you become more accustomed to different flavors, such as the bitter tang of kale or wheatgrass, a whole new range of flavor profiles opens up to you. Not only will juicing make you feel better, it’ll also increase your taste buds’ sophistication. So with that in mind, today’s veggie juice recipe features the interesting and unique fennel plant.

Fennel has a slightly sweet and unmistakable taste. It adds a ton of originality to this juice recipe, but it’s also good for you. Studies have linked an oil that is found in fennel with decreased risk of tumor production. Fennel is rich in antioxidants, and there’s evidence which suggests it has anti-inflammatory properties as well. Additionally, it’s a good source of vitamin C and should be freshly available at your local farmer’s market – fennel is in season until about the middle of spring.
