Celebrate your health and the abundance of fall produce with this generous vegetable juice recipe. This recipe has a little zing, so be prepared to wake up your taste buds!The variety of ingredients used in this recipe make it useful for prevention or relief of many conditions including sinus pressure, low libido, and anemia. This juice boasts magnesium, riboflavin, vitamin A, vitamin C, and B vitamins. Some of these ingredients have been associated with preventing certain cancers, especially stomach cancer. Beets have also been shown to help regulate metabolism and high blood sugar. Beets have also been shown to help detoxify the liver, so this may be helpful after over-zealous holiday celebrations. 


  • 3 Beet roots
  • 12 Radishes
  • 1 bunch of Parsley
  • 2 Celery sticks
  • 2 Carrots
  • 4 Tomatoes
  • 1 Jalapeño pepper


  • Rinse all produce thoroughly
  • Cut beets as necessary to fit in juicer
  • Juice beets, radishes, carrots, and celery on high
  • Lower speed and juice tomatoes and parsley
  • Jalapeño can be juiced as is for a spicy juice, or you can remove stem, seeds, and ribs for a milder flavor
  • This juice makes one large 24 ounce glass or two 12 ounce glasses
  • Pour into glasses and drink immediately for best flavor and easy clean up
  • Beets will stain surfaces, so be sure to clean counters and juicer parts shortly after juicing
