Healthy Wheatgrass and Carrot Juice

Wheatgrass is one of those often talked about ingredients that is rich in so many good vitamins and minerals. It has chlorophyll, which does your liver good in terms of cleansing and generally is great for cleansing the body of toxins. It can, however, be a bit rough in the taste department so this is why you need to add a little sweetness in the form of perhaps an apple or for this recipe the ever faithful carrot.
Ingredients 

  • 2-3 inch bunch of wheatgrass
  • 3 carrots
Instructions 

  1. Peel and chop the carrots into a suitable juicing size for your machine.
  2. Wash your wheatgrass and remove any roots that may be on the base of the blades.
  3. Juice the carrot and wheatgrass together and serve with ice (Experiment with other sweet vegetable to find something that works for you if carrots are not enough.)
