Jack-o-Lantern Juice

With Halloween fast approaching, pumpkins are abundant and being discounted! Make the most of your dollar and make this sweet, festive juice, and pumpkin seeds to snack on with it! You can juice the pumpkin seeds, but they will not yield as much juice as the “meat” of the pumpkin, so you are better off making yourself a tasty treat with those seeds. While pumpkins are usually considered a vegetable, they are technically a fruit, specifically a berry! This recipe requires the use of both a juicer and a blender, as bananas with not juice properly and will clog the juicer screen. If you don’t have a blender, you can forfeit the raisins or craisins, and mash the banana very well with a fork before mixing it into the drink. If you want to make this juice for a party and add a fun festive touch, you can hold off on juicing the spinach until the very end. Once all of the juice is in decorative glasses, layer the spinach juice on top of the bright orange juice to add a fun contrast.
