Krups ZB500 Infinity Slow Juicer

krups-infinity-juicerLast week, we reviewed a somewhat inexpensive centrifugal juicer by Krups that has been making waves. This week we have that juicer’s fancy big brother up for review. The Krups ZB500 Infinity Slow Juicer is about twice the price of the centrifugal model, at $280, but will even separate the foam from your juice while extracting the maximum amount of juice possible from your produce.

Appearance and Build

This juicer is sure to turn heads if you keep on your kitchen counter, as it has a sleek space-age appearance. Featuring a stainless steel body with a clear housing for the juicing mechanisms, you will see your produce through every step of the process in style. The juicer is a masticating juicer, which means that the produce is crushed rather than torn, at slower speeds so that more nutrition is held in the resulting juice. The juicer will also accommodate a wider variety of produce, including wheatgrass and other greens that may be difficult or impossible to juice using a centrifugal juicer.

The Krups Infinity slow juicer has a three compartment feeding tube that is wider than most for faster, easier preparation. The juicer comes with a one liter jug that has a foam separator. There are two stainless steel basket attachments that can be used to make sauces and smoothies. All of the removable parts are dishwasher safe for easy cleaning, and the housing is smooth for easy wipe down. Altogether, this juicer is a unique piece that will inspire conversations in your kitchen as your friends and family rally to use this fun piece of equipment. What a great way to start a health movement in your house!
