Mean Green Juice

green juiceEat your greens, eat your greens. You’ve been hearing it since you were old enough to chew. When you drink down this delicious green juice, you can satisfy your body’s craving and your subconscious’ nagging in one felled swoop. 

Why Greens?

We all know that greens are important, but it can be helpful to remember why they’re important. For starters, greens are a highly concentrated source of nutrients. For the amount of calories you take in when you eat greens, it’s tough to beat what they give back to you in terms of vitamins and minerals. Greens contain important minerals like calcium, magnesium and potassium. They also supply you with vitamins K, C, E, B6 and B12. What does all this add up to? Eat your greens! Or in this case, drink them.

This recipe has a lot of different greens going on. If for some reason you’re short one of the required ingredients, just include a similar amount of a different green. In any case, check it out, juice it up, and enjoy a healthy day!


  • 1 Cup of Kale
  • 1 Cup of Spinach
  • 2 Cups of Parsley
  • 3 Celery Stalks
  • 1 Cucumber


  1. Rinse all ingredients.
  2. Juice them up.
  3. If this mean green juice isn’t quite mean enough for you, toss in a little bit of fresh ginger or garlic to spice things up.
