Nectar of Nature

This tasty spring inspired juice combines a delightful menagerie of subtly sweet flavors with both vegetable and fruit origins. Summer squash and peaches may not be on your regular shopping list for juicing, but this juice may help to change that. These foods are in season right now, too, so you can find some of the sweetest and tastiest peaches and summer squash at the most reasonable prices. cantaloupe, cucumbers, and carrots will also help to round out the flavor while adding plenty of nutritional benefit. Summer squash are full of antioxidants and may help to regulate blood sugar, along with having unique antimicrobial properties.
This juice works best when ran through a cold-press juicer, as the soft cantaloupe and peaches may clog a centrifugal screen. If a cold-press juicer is not available, it may be best to only juice the carrots, cucumbers, and squash. This juice can then be placed into a blender along with the peaches and cantaloupe and blended to make a delicious smoothie. If this method is used, a banana can also be added for flavor.
