Ode to Clear Skin

In order to help your body restore your skin to its natural beauty, it is important to ingest the right foods. What a better way to concentrate some skin clearing and health boosting foods that by combining them in a juice? 

This juice has high levels of vitamin A from the carrots and spinach. Vitamin A helps to maintain skin cells, while fighting any damage that may have already happened. High levels of vitamin C are also present in this juice from the apples, spinach, and celery. Vitamin C is being renowned right now for its role in helping to keep healthy skin. Vitamin C is vital to the production of collagen in the body, which gives skin its firmness and elasticity. Vitamin C also slows free radical damage, can reduce sun burn, and can help the body to repair scar tissue. Celery is helpful for the natural hydration of the skin.


  • 2 carrots
  • 1 apple
  • 1 celery stick
  • 1 cup of broccoli
  • 1 handful of fresh spinach


  • Rinse all produce thoroughly
  • Remove tops from carrots and stem from apple
  • Cut produce to fit in juicer
  • Juice firmer vegetables, such as the carrots and apple
  • Juice broccoli and spinach last if using a centrifugal juicer, as the greens may clog the screen and produce less juice
  • Add a whole cucumber if desired, for wrinkle reduction
