Sweet and Spicy Spring Slammer

Red peppers also contain plenty of vitamin C, folic acid, thiamine, vitamin B6, beta carotene, and magnesium. Red peppers and tomatoes can help to improve the immune system and aid in digestive health. Red peppers have shown to increase the body’s heat production and oxygen consumption, both of which have shown to help juicerheads lose weight. The electrolytes present in red peppers can help reduce the risk of a stroke while keeping the heart, brain, kidney, and muscle tissues in good condition.   • 1 large tomato
  • 3 carrots
  • ½ pound strawberries
  • 1 lime
  • 1-1/2 piece of fresh ginger
  • 1 Fuji apple
  • 1 red bell pepper


  • Wash all produce thoroughly
  • Remove stems from tomato, apple, carrots, and strawberries
  • Remove stem and deseed the red pepper
  • Peel the lime, as the peel may add extra bitterness
  • Cut all produce as needed to fit in the juicer
  • Juice all produce
  • Mix juice well to combine flavors
  • Slam or sip the drink and taste the flavors of spring!
