The Basic Healthy Cabbage Juice

Perfect for dealing with peptic ulcers and packed with nothing but good stuff, cabbage is awesome as a health juice. Sometimes people will boil cabbage and drink that juice but the goodness is lost doing that so raw cabbage juice is better. It can be somewhat of an acquired taste so you need to experiment a little bit by adding something else to give a more pleasant flavor. In this case I suggest carrot which brings sweetness and some extra fiber.
Ingredients 

  • 4 ounces of cabbage
  • 2 carrots
Instructions 

  1. Simply wash and chop the cabbage.
  2. Peel the carrot and then juice it with the cabbage serve over ice. If you find the flavor to be too much add a little more cabbage and maybe a little lemon juice to make it more palatable. You will eventually get used to the taste and the health benefits are worth the effort.
