The Fruity Pain Reducer

Certain items of produce have natural anti-inflammatory effects and several of those are found in this recipe. Along with all the expected vitamin benefits of a fruit juice drink this particular beverage can actually help ease basic aches and pains. This is a very citrus-based juice so it is really good for boosting your immune system. It is also rich in potassium and low in sodium making it good for the circulation as well.
1 large lemon
1 medium-size orange
2 firm pears
2 apples

  1. Peel the rind from both the lemon and orange while retaining plenty of the white pith. Cut the flesh into smaller pieces that will fit into the juicer.
  2. Wash the apples and the pears and remove the stalk and core from both. Cut them into smaller slices ready for juicing
  3. Juice all four ingredients together and serve chilled over ice with maybe a sprinkle of cinnamon for a hit of flavor.
