The Green Fiber Punch

Summary
With a whole host of fiber and mineral rich greens, this is a super healthy juice drink. Featuring the premier vegetables such as brussels sprouts, green beans and Jerusalem artichokes, it is vitamin rich and great for the digestive system. In order to off set the savory nature of its main ingredients carrots and lemon are introduced for both vitamin C and an element of sweet citrus flavor.
Ingredients 

  • 4 ounces of carrot
  • 4 ounces of lettuce
  • 4 ounces of brussels sprouts
  • 4 ounces of green beans
  • 4 ounces of Jerusalem artichokes
  • Half a lemon
Instructions 

  1. Wash and chop the lettuce
  2. Peel and chop the carrots into small chunks.
  3. Halve the brussels sprouts and wash them.
  4. Wash and halve the green beans and do the same with the Jerusalem artichokes.
  5. Finally cut up the lemon and pass all the ingredients through the juicer and serve the drink over ice.
